Covered Call Writing & Selling Cash-Secured Puts to Generate Consistent Cash Flow*
Alan Ellman |The Blue Collar Investor Corp.

This presentation will detail stock selection, option selection, and position management, the 3-required skills to become elite covered call writers and put-sellers. It will also include ultra-conservative approaches to these strategies using Delta and implied volatility to create statistically beneficial trades. Rules and guidelines will be discussed to take the emotions out of our trades resulting in high-probability positive outcomes.

Detailed analysis will be provided regarding how to craft our trades to the current market environment, personal risk tolerance, and strategy return goals. A multi-tiered option-selling strategy that combines both covered call writing and selling cash-secured puts will also be examined. It is known as the PCP (put-call-put) or “wheel strategy.”

Attendees will be introduced to a one-of-a-kind trade management tool, the Trade Management Calculator, which is used to enter, manage, and generate final realized and unrealized trade results.

The course is structured to benefit both beginner and advanced option traders, using real-life examples to enhance the learning process.

Why I Think the Stock Market Should Be Closed in August
Louis Navellier |Growth Investor, Breakthrough Stocks, & Accelerated Profits

August and the first half of September are seasonally weak periods for the stock market.  This is largely caused by the fact that Europe and New York are notorious for taking the month of August off, so trading volume tends to decline and the "B team" runs most trading desks.  The last big flash crash happened in August 2015 when many ETF investors were fleeced up to 35% intraday.  So August is a dangerous and treacherous month.  The weakness in the first half of September seems to be more related to selling to make quarterly tax payments.  Interestingly, in a Presidential election year, August and the first half of September are not too bad.  Since the Democratic National Convention (DNC) is in Chicago in August, protests may break out over Gaza and other conflicts, the DNC will be a wildcard.  Do not be surprised if the powerful Superdelagates nominate California governor Gavin Newsom to be the Democratic nominee.

Charting Inflation & Its Relationship to Gold
Omar Ayales |Gold Charts R Us

The U.S. continues to ride on the stimulus from the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic breakout. In 2022, a paradigm shift was confirmed from a megacycle of disinflation from 1981 to 2020 to a new mega cycle of higher inflation for longer that could last a generation. This means that sticky inflation could get a lot stickier, and higher interest rates for longer are inevitable. In his presentation, Mr. Ayales will show you how we got here and what the charts and history say about where we’re going. Mr. Ayales will expose the impact of gold, silver, copper, and the miners moving forward and where to consider allocating capital during a time of growing monetary inflation, uncertainty, and global chaos as a new order is forged.

The outlook for tax policy in Washington is about as uncertain as it has been in years. Lawmakers face a “fiscal cliff” at the end of 2025 when most of the 2017 tax cuts expire. Failure to act will trigger a $3 trillion automatic tax hike, yet there is no clear indication of how Congress and the next administration will respond. Scott Hodge, author of the new book, Taxocracy: What You Don’t Know About Taxes and How They Rule Your Daily Life, will outline what you should prepare for, what the leading presidential candidates are saying, and how Washington can use the fiscal cliff as a catalyst for pro-growth tax reform.
